Don completed his undergraduate work at Union College (1986) BA in History and P.S., ASU (1988) in Education, and BFA at the University of Oregon (2005).  While at U of O he apprenticed with Peggy Prentice, TwinRocker, in paper making and paper chemestry for 4 years.  Also completed his degree work in print making with a focus on etching and intaglio.  While studying, he menteed with Tim Ely, well known book artist and binder.  He completed his degree with the creation of a number of hand made books and print edition books.  He dedicates his work to the creation of books as a record of awareness and any artform where paper is involved including painting, printing, sculpture and creating blank journals.   Don assists customers throughout the Supplies Center Area.   

Valerie Ciurej, Supplies Center Specialist - (970) 491-4858

Valerie has been with the store for 14 years.  Her service has included managing art supplies, pen and pencil inventories, computers and electronics.  She is constantly looking for that newest computer accessory or fantastic writing tool that is at the cutting edge of the supplies world.  She leads the student staff team.  When not making sure the Supplies Center is organized she can be seen hanging out with her sons in a Cub Scout Den.

John Schurman,  Department Sales Specialist - (970) 491-1481

John is the shining happy face of the CSU Bookstore Supplies Center.  Probably the best known character amoung our department customers, John has served the store for 14 years.  John is the go-to guy for special orders and can find just about anything for our customers.  When not at the store, John can be found amoung his menagerie of horses, dogs and cats.
